the massive smile that slips onto their face when they realise someone’s listening

I just love passionate, enthusiastic people and I wish more people would be like that

bertholdt doing volunteer shifts at the SPCA and falling in love with this one dear little pitbull whose owner beat it for wrecking furniture and on the day the pitbull is supposed to be put down bertholdt is so upset that he decides to adopt the dog on the spot and he takes it home and he’s just like “reiner we have a dog now” and reiner is pissed off for about five seconds but then the dog hops up on its hind legs and starts trying to give him kisses and reiner is like aw well i guess it can stay… for now…

spoiler alert the dog stays forever the dog becomes a part of the family they love the dog they train it and help it to heal they give it cuddles and treats whenever it gets frightened by loud noises reiner takes it out to the big empty lot near their apartment and plays catch with it for hours sometimes in the night during scary thunderstorms it’ll sneak into the bedroom and curl up between reiner and bertholdt and they’ll pet it until it calms down and falls back to sleep
